Our wedding is semi-formal to casual—please dress comfortably for an outdoor summer celebration at Hillside Beach on August 29, 2026. Some guests may choose dressier attire while others opt for more relaxed looks; either is fine. Please wear footwear suitable for walking on grass and uneven, unpaved ground.

There will be limited parking at the Hillside cabin, but you can park on Hillside Beach Road. There is ample parking at the Grand Marais Rec. Centre.

Two volunteer drivers will provide shuttle service between Hillside Beach and Grand Marais. Please sign up for a ride using the on-site sign-up sheet; drivers will run scheduled shuttles throughout the evening. Both drivers are kindly donating their time—cash tips are appreciated.

Option 1: You can tent (or if you have a trailer/camper) in Jill's yard at Hillside Beach or at Kevin's in Grand Marais. Option 2: Jill has reserved three rooms at the Birchwood Inn. If you would like to take one of these ($145-165/night) rooms, contact Jill before Aug. 24 - otherwise the reservations will be cancelled. Option 3: There may be bed space at Jill's Hillside Beach cabin or at Kevin's Grand Marais cabin. Contact Jill to check availability. (Jill's cell 2049951681)
